Airmasters has lost a very long time dedicated member and friend, Tony Bordiere. I know Tony would not want this page because he would say he wasn't anyone special. Tony had battled several health issue for years, but as everyone knows if you were looking for Tony, you would go to the airfield not his house. His passion for rc planes was outstanding and he held more knowledge on planes then you could fit in an encyclopedia. He would help you any way he could whether it was training you to fly or putting your plane back together (after it crashed). Tony was a prankster at times with his co flyers and their planes.(the look on your face, made his day). He enjoyed the Kiwanis Aktion group and the Cub Scouts when they visited each year. In general he just loved life. Tony, you'll be sadly missed by all of the Airmaster members.
AIRMASTERS RC FLYING CLUB
On any good day if I stopped at the field. If he was able Tony would be there. He
loved our hobby, and he was proud af his ability to fly, build, and train others
to enjoy it also. When I had a question or a problem with my planes he was there
to help. I Will Miss Him. Jim R.

Tony was training me at the old field, we had a 40 tower trainer which had seen better days, andas always I put it hard and cracked the fuselage rather badley.
Well that's it for today I said. Tony walked out and got the the broken plane got some duct tape patched the plane and took off. The plane just got off the runway and was flying. He gave me the stick as the plane flew towards the power plant I tried to put it in a turn to head back toward the field It didn't respond to the turn.I said I don't have it and Tony said No shit I don't either. As the plane flew out of sight he turned and said  Now we'er done flying for the day. Sure going to miss that kind of teaching. Griff DeMoss

Tony was an amazing modeler and flyer but most of all a good friend.  He was
always there to help and give encouragement.  His talent with motors was
unequalled in our club.  Tony never met an engine that he could not tune.  My
engines will miss him and probably never run the same ... but I will miss him
more.
